Job Description
Salary: $50,502.40 - $73,424.00 Annually


Introduction


This Customer Service Representative Sr position is in the IT department and performs a wide variety of duties involving maintaining enterprise communications accounts, research/ problem solving/ analytics, database maintenance, accounts payable, accounting reconciliation and monthly journal entries and activating cell phones and iPhones. This individual is responsible for hardware inventory verification and updates as well as software inventory updates. Standard office duties include answering doors and telephones, purchasing office supplies, travel and training and web site updates.


Minimum Qualifications


Education and Experience:


  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Two years of customer service or public contact experience.
  • Preferred: Accounts receivable billing experience, depending on assignment.
Licensing, Certifications, and Other Requirements:


  • Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on division/department/service assignment.


Essential Functions


Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a division(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following:


  • Prepares statistical reports on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Processes invoices using accounting software.
  • Maintains departmental records according to records retention schedule.
  • Assists staff and customers with licensing, billing and payment questions.
  • Acts as database administrator for various computerized systems; analyzes data, tracks essential data and integrates information into reports.
  • Assists in updating the department website and Sharepoint site.
  • Maintains various records and customer service information for recurring reports.
  • Monitors customer service and clerical operations to ensure requirements of specific area function efficiently.
  • Schedules training and travel for the department.
