The duties for this position include

• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment or buildings such as replacing light bulbs, or minor painting.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a previous work history that includes

• Able to operate janitorial equipment properly and safely

• Able to complete tasks within a deadline

• Ability to maintain equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
