What does the Custodial Supervisor do?

The Supervisor would be responsible for performing custodial duties, supervision of custodial crew(s), scheduling of custodial crew(s), minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Supervisor reports to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager and cares for the facilities. Maintaining these responsibilities will help to ensure the health, safety, and security of the public.

What my Role and Responsibilities would be?

  • Completing annual evaluations on custodial employees.
  • Responsible for the collection of recycling bins located throughout the facility and distributed to the recycling center
  • Performs other duties as needed
  • Responsible for the security of designated locations
  • Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance
  • Supervision of custodial employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all locations, CW Resources Inc. is responsible for the inside of the building.
  • Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices
  • Coordinates work flow charts on project to meet short- and long-term goals
  • Supervision of custodial employees in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all location CWR is responsible for inside the building
  • Completing annual evaluations on custodial employees.
  • Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards and objectives of the company
  • Reprimanding custodial employees when necessary.
  • Keeps records of work completed
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing and controlling the operations of facility
  • Supervises custodial employees in various locations throughout the building
  • Reprimanding custodial employees when necessary.
  • Performs custodial duties
  • Uses customer service skills, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials and all members of the general public
  • Oversee the ordering of inventory for the facility
  • Opens and closes, locks and unlocks facilities as needed
  • Trains, supervises and evaluates assigned custodial staff
  • Attendance at work is an essential function of this position

What my Essential Duties would be?

  • Must be able to fill out all proper paperwork.
  • Must be able to ensure that all duties are performed correctly by the team, and if they are not then the supervisor is responsible for completing the task.
  • Must be able to supervise large teams.
  • Must be able to properly work all machinery and equipment
  • Must work to ensure that all policies and processes are being followed.

Monday-Friday: 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Monday-Friday: 11:30 am- 8:00 pm

While performing the duties of this job the incumbent will have to sit, stand and or walk for the majority of the shift. The incumbent is required to regularly talk or hear while fulfilling the duties of the job. The incumbent may have to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and push and or pull carts with up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
