GRAND CROSSING

TRAVERSE CITY

GRAND CROSSING IS A 22,000 SQUARE FOOT STATE OF THE ART CANNABIS CULTIVATION OPERATION BASED IN ACME TWP IN GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI.THE COMPANY WILL GENERATE 4,000 POUNDS OF HIGH-QUALITY MEDICAL CANNABIS ANNUALLY.

Cultivation Assistant(s)

Position Summary

Cultivation Assistants will be responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. Cultivation Assistants will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as pruning, defoliating, transplanting, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors and managers.

Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Perform plant maintenance and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by the Head of Cultivation.

Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs.

Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, pots to ensure sanitary practices.

Observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments.

Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches, wash down rooms, and prepare to transplant new crops.

Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.

Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the grow facility.

Assist with post-harvest duties as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

●High school diploma or equivalent required.

●Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.

●Must comply with state regulations and guidelines.

●Ability to pass a background check required.

●Must be 21 years of age or older.

●Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.

●Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting.

●Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.

●Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions.

●Requires bending and lifting up to 70 pounds

Time Commitment, Compensation, and Benefits

●Part to full time positions available

●$18-$25/hour depending on experience level

●Full time employees eligible for Health Savings Account after 90-day probationary period
