Criminal Investigations Division - Detective

This position is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations of criminal violation reports initiated by uniformed officers and other criminal reports as requested. Additionally, detectives are trained as identification technicians and are responsible for the processing of crime scenes, analysis of evidence, photography and fingerprinting. A detective is also responsible for case preparation for presentation to the courts.
