The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF) oversees and operates Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid Program), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), and other state public health programs for qualified Coloradans. Description of Job


The Medicaid Operations Office welcomes your application for the COVID Unwind Project Coordinator temporary position. This position executes the tactical implementation of project tasks as assigned and directed by the Project Manager and project team.


Responsibilities In This Position Include


  • Provide scripted responses where applicable.
  • Executes project management tasks, as assigned, to define, plan, document, manage, and monitor the project scope of work, schedule, requirements, operations, risks, issues, quality, decisions, communication needs, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct research for management.
  • Sequence project management activities, resource deployment, equipment, and information.
  • Draft formal written correspondence
  • Lead administrative tasks such as scheduling and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, provide logistical support, facilitating meetings, preparing presentations, documenting, and following up on meeting minutes, actions, and decisions.
  • Track and respond or direct COVID Unwind inquiries, issues, escalations from internal, eligibility sites, and advocates/community partners regarding the end of the Continuous Coverage (COVID Unwind) and the Public Health Emergency.
  • Execute the tactical implementation of project tasks as assigned and directed by the
  • Assist with the development of FAQs based on inquiries and coordinate amongst all potential entry points.
  • Create and maintain all relevant project sites and documentation.
  • Monitor and communicate project progress, project deliverables and due dates.
  • Organize and support staff in responding to inquiries from internal, eligibility sites, and advocates/community partners as a result of the end of the Continuous Coverage (COVID Unwind) and the Public Health Emergency.
  • Identify, track and communicate project risks, issues, and opportunities, participating in the analysis and providing solutions where applicable.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree and two years of experience in managing projects


Preferred Qualifications


Professional experience working in customer service.
