Job Description
Job Title: Courtesy Driver


Location: Colorado Springs


Level/Salary Range: $17.00 per hour


Position Type: Full Time


Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills is searching for a full-time Courtesy Driver. The hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record.


Essential Duties


  • Operate radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
  • Keep a timely shuttle route.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Deliver or pick up vehicles.
  • Use good judgment and safe driving skills.
  • Keep a record of trips including destination or pick-up point.


Qualifications


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Education And/or Experience


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills


  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.


Reasoning Ability


  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Valid Driver License
