We are looking for a Cost Manager who will be a key team member of the project controls team to perform cost management / quantity surveying support. How will you contribute to the team?
  • Reviewing contractor change orders with strong adherence to the contractual methods of measurement.
  • Track progress systematically and within agreed timelines.
  • Review contractors change orders for accurate items against P&ID drawings.
  • Willingness to bring creative solutions to client and team challenges.
  • Team collaboration with coworkers and with fellow contractors, designers, and the client.
  • Discuss means and methods, and constructability.
  • Review new rates to ensure alignment with existing contract rates.
  • Prepare what-if estimates leveraging large data pulls.
  • Commercial management of construction using unit rate contracts.
  • Prepare ad-hoc cost analysis using advanced Excel skills.
  • Some duties may require the use of personal protective equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working around one or more dangerous elements or conditions.
  • Field walking scope to understand quantities.
What will you contribute?
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or technical field or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required (interfaces regularly with contractors, designers, client).
  • Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, strong Excel preferred.
