Overview


At Instant Teams, we pride ourselves on continuous learning and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Corporate Training Instructor (2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Eastern time). In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow, finding ways to help new teammates excel, and being a problem solver when roadblocks or issues arise. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.


Corporate Training Instructor will facilitate the preparation, delivery, and assessment of training and development programs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for talent development, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to train and coach within a high-paced environment.


Corporate Training Instructor work with a wide range of individuals—from entry-level employees to senior management—to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in their jobs.


Training facilitators must be able to effectively communicate information in a clear and concise way. They also must be good at listening to participants’ questions or concerns so that they can address these issues during breaks or at the end of each session.


Training programs typically include new hire onboarding training geared toward specific customer accounts, ongoing training to ensure skills are sharp and ever-evolving, supervisory or leadership training, work skills training, team building, and other training programs to address the needs of employees or customer accounts.


Instant Teams is a remote-first company, so this position is and will continue to be 100% remote, work-from-home.


Classification: Exempt Salaried


Pay Range: $40-60k annually based on experience


Fixed Work Schedule: 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Eastern time (EDT), Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work as required.

Day in the Life


  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the Learning Design and Development Administrator, as well as other account leadership, for optimal outcomes.
  • Engage trainees to improve upon and/or enhance existing skills.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provides input to the Training Strategy and the development of specific training development plans.
  • Embrace and support change throughout the organization.
  • Create a supportive and conducive adult learning environment.
  • Work cooperatively with various departments to efficiently and effectively facilitate training on products, services, and several other topics.
  • Supplement curriculum with localized, specific content and real-world examples as needed.
  • Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users.
  • Manages online learning communities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Lead weekly online engagement sessions that create a sense of community, encourage deeper engagement with curriculum content and help learners complete the program.
  • Monitor participant progress within the learning platform, and share insights to help facilitate solutions and next steps.
  • Facilitates discussion and collaboration via social media.
  • Develop training materials as needed.
  • Providing training support including scheduling class time, registering participants, and providing materials or supplies.
  • Provide learners with practical guidance and mentorship as appropriate.
  • Work in groups and one-on-one with trainees and employees, proactively initiating contact while responding to trainee needs.

Required Education And Experience


  • Associate’s Degree in a Training-related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills which enable a training facilitator to effectively educate employees and communicate with the upper management.
  • Ability to coach and mentor adults.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training as a training facilitator, training coordinator, or any other similar role.
  • Possess a sound understanding of positive coaching techniques.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.


Preferred Education And Experience


  • Training in process improvement or Six Sigma methodology is preferred.
  • Experience using eLearning software such as Articulate (preferred).
  • Knowledge of and practical application of Adult Learning Theory and instructional design principles.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a Training-related field.
  • Familiarity with military demographics.
  • Proficiency and familiarity with Talent Management and career paths.
  • At least 3+ years of proven work experience as a training facilitator, training coordinator, or any other similar role.
  • Analytical skills to uncover the root cause and develop improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Software (LMS).
