The Opportunity
As we continue in our journey to transform healthcare for all, the essential teams that support that work are growing as well. We are seeking a Corporate Controller to manage and support our team's continued growth and best-in-class processes that drive long-term partnerships with the business, accounting, treasury, payroll, tax functions and people management. You will have primary responsibility over all aspects of the financial process, preparation of One Medical's financial statements and leading the Controllership organization to the next level.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will work to streamline and constantly improve One Medical's processes with a clear sense of ownership, taking personal responsibility for decisions, actions, and outcomes. As a leader and mentor, your guidance will play a key role in accounting decisions while looking ahead proactively foreseeing opportunities and challenges to find solutions . With a passion for collaboration, you will work across the organization developing and maintaining positive relationships across business functions with the goal of being a valued business advisor.
What You'll Work On

• Be a trusted partner across cross-functional teams
• Continually improve business processes
• Manage the reporting process, including the preparation of supporting schedules and related analysis, to ensure the accurate compilation and reporting of financial data in accordance with US GAAP
• Assess business models and proposal to ensure accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Proactively manage direct and indirect tax matters
• Motivate and develop a high performing teams
• Be actively engaged in advising management on acquisitions from financial and tax due diligence through integration

What You'll Need

• You will have 12+ years of progressive experience, including a mix of Big 4 and US Public midsize or large company experience
• Effective communication and Presentation skills to clearly present facts, analysis and recommendations, using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others, including both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Proven success with building scalable processes and effective project management aimed at achieving measurable results
• You will have a CPA (preferably active)
• Make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information. Rely on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment when making decisions.
• Ability to develop, guide and mentor the team so they (individually and collectively) can be highly successful. Set's the standard as a leader and coach for increased levels of employee job satisfaction and employee engagement through development and mentoring.

This is a full-time role based anywhere in the US remote.
One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $250,000 - $325,000 . However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location. The total compensation package for certain roles may also include additional components such as a sign-on bonus, annual performance bonus, equity grants in the form of RSUs, medical and other benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
