If you are looking for part-time administrative work, our Corporate Communications Associate role is the perfect way to build your professional community network and obtain valuable experience! The Corporate Communications department serves as brand ambassadors for off-court business, community relations media and public relations efforts, and ensures consistency in corporate messaging.


As the associate, you will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the game-day credential experience as well as assist with occasional community events.


In this role you will:


  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the department both in-office and at event locations
  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance
  • Assist with game-day credentials, including creation and distribution for media and other guests
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assist with special projects and office administrative tasks as assigned


What you’ll bring to the role:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Work, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle numerous tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Working knowledge of NBA/basketball is a plus.
  • Self-starter who is a dedicated teammate
  • Strong communication skills including creative writing and grammatical excellence


Additional details:


Work schedule includes all Thunder home games including evenings, weekends and holidays, and some office hours as needed. Position will not exceed 30 hours a week. Physical requirements of the job include bending and moderate lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and though this is primarily an office job, some in-arena work is included with loud music and crowd noise and flashing or strobe lighting. Primary work location will be Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a part-time, seasonal position reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
