Job Summary
The copywriter at CoxHealth is responsible for concepting and executing innovative marketing materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including: print collateral, large web initiatives, online advertising and digital marketing. A strong core skill set in traditional writing for marketing and advertising is required. The copywriter's primary responsibility is to serve as a key participant in shaping the creative strategy. Must have strong conceptual abilities, offer unique solutions to challenges, and enjoy being part of a team. The copywriter’s role is to stimulate ideas and bring out team members’ imaginations as everyone works toward the common goal of developing unique marketing solutions.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
Required: 3+ years of marketing copywriting experience
Preferred: Solid portfolio of work with health care or agency experience a plus
Skills
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; basic experience using a project management software
In-depth knowledge of AP style and the ability to implement it, as well as approved exceptions, consistently
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, balancing creativity with the need to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset
Strong research and fact-checking skills; able to use multiple sources
Collaborative, adaptable problem-solver
