Overview of Job Function:


The Logistics and Distribution Coordinator is a key team player to help facilitate the supply chain and logistics/ distribution operations for Verint. This role will be responsible for handling the daily operations of the warehouse functions, which may include some of the following: shipping, receiving, inventory management, returns processing, order control/order release, delivery/pick-up scheduling with overall accuracy of processing and inventories associated with assigned functions. This role will need to perform under all operational quality and compliance requirements and international policies & procedures, respectively.


Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:


  • Warehouse receiving/inspecting of goods and verifying items against the shipment record including inspection, reporting issues on the carrier document.
  • Coordinate with other interfaces in the company for returned merchandise to be reshipped to the appropriate location and manage the incoming inventory for Return for Credit (RFC) appropriately.
  • Unpacking, verification of goods received and recording of all in and out material.
  • Ensure on-time inbound deliveries and returns. Coordinate and monitor tracking shipments daily, ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data and recording of all in and out material.
  • 3PL coordination for overflow/excess inventory allocation & retrieval, Plan drop-ship customer orders for operational efficiency.
  • Shipping functions to include gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation instructions provided by customers. Record serial numbers and ship orders with best packaging to optimize shipping costs.
  • Responsible to meet daily workflow throughput/ output goals for shipping activity as planned by monitoring open order shipping reports to ensure all orders are processed.
  • Performs basic mechanical assembly upon customer hardware requirements including the proper labeling.
  • Works with and coordinates with different small pack couriers & freight forwarders to generate air waybill, BOL including retrieving shipping charges from courier sites & billing to customers.
  • Inventory management includes daily & annual cycle count, reconciliation of any gaps and analyzing excess/ low inventory on shelf/in transit and allocations.
  • Complies with import/export trading requirements including but not limited to recording and maintaining all international shipment information and documentation as outlined under Verint’s policies. Maintains knowledge of US and international shipping requirements including, import/export regulations, free trade agreement certificate requirements, country of origin certificates, manufacturing certificates, letter of credit processes and comprehensive and thorough understanding of Incoterms 2010. Coordinates with export compliance consultant.
  • Daily maintenance, storage, organization, and customer distribution of shipping documentation to include ongoing process improvement. Order status notifications and quality record follow up with the client and internal resources.
  • Receive customer RMA’ materials within specified SLAs to meet the repair objectives (MTTR) of the organization. Ensure RMA billing and shipping are done promptly after repair completion to achieve high standards of customer service.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant logistics, pick, pack, shipping/receiving, and inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of import/export shipping documentation (Commercial/Proforma invoice, packing lists, air waybills, bills of lading, shipper’s letter of instruction, AES direct filing).
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 pounds on a regular basis & operate basic warehouse equipment like lift truck, pallet jack, strapping & shrinking equipment for pallets.
  • Must be able to work an 8- hour shift daily with flexible start time.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of import and export classifications and how to apply them on shipping documentation (ECCN, HTS, Schedule B, COO).
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or any other similar ERP/CRM application like WMS, TMS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, logistics or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with OSHA warehouse safety guidelines and protocols.
