Job Description
Experienced Controls Tech needed immediately for a manufacturer in Columbus, IN. The ideal candidate will be skilled with Allen Bradley and HMI programs.

Controls Technician Details
  • Contract to Hire position
  • Third Shift
  • $ 25.00 / annually
Main responsibilities: Eliminate downtime and reduce quality defects by diagnosing and repairing issues with plant equipment or processes
  • Accurately track changes and improvements to present to stakeholders and create solutions for benchmarking
  • Use systematic approach to help the maintenance department troubleshoot and repair machine issues
  • Complete debugging and troubleshooting on all PLC controllers and electrical control systems
  • Adjust programs in AB Studio 5000 and RS500
  • Improve process and communication to machine operators by writing, creating, or modifying HMI programs within Schneider in an AB Environment
Controls Technician Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Controls systems and quality system experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Associates’ degree in engineering or technical field
