What does the Electrical Engineering Technician do?
As the Electrical Engineering Technician, you will manage a broad portfolio of assignments including hands-on” fieldwork, analysis, and multiple levels of communication.
Here are some of the responsibilities of this role

• Field Service and System Start-up
• Material procurement and cost management
• AutoCAD drawing updates based on as-builts
• Engineering design (power and control systems)
• Electrical and Controls installation
• Sales support and quotation

Things you are good at

• Ability to read and understand electrical prints and drawings
• Self-motivated team player with strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience quoting electrical/controls systems
• Fundamental understanding of control and electrical system design
• PLC and Robotics experience (or interest in learning)

But most importantly

• Exercise independent initiative and accountability

Daily Life: This is a full-time position based in our Tupelo, Miss. office. As our EE Technician, you can expect 50% travel. When working from the office, hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Engineering Technician reports directly to the Controls/Electrical Engineering Manager.
