Controller Manufacturing - $140K-$160K + Bonus - Hybrid

• Position pays $140,000 - $160,000 + bonus

Responsibilities

About the Controller Position:

Looking for a highly talented Controller coming out of Manufacturing that will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting consolidations and Corporate accounting staff functions. You will be part of the management team that is expected to deliver results under tight deadlines, and maintain focus while ensuring short-term goals are accomplished.

About the Controller Responsibilities:

• Comply with GAAP
• Serve as a liaison between business and auditors
• Assist with debt financings, including analyses of proposals and proper accounting of debt transactions
• Lead all financial reporting to ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance
• Review account reconciliations and preparation of the monthly financial reports
• Coordinate the preparation of annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
• Manage a team of 2-3
• Lead month-end closing process
• Manage and supervise the Financial Reporting, Consolidations and Accounting teams

About the Controller Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Experience leading and managing teams
• 8+ years demonstrated accounting/financial leadership experience is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Manufacturing experience is a must, retail is also preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, discretionary and decision-making skills
• CPA is preferred not a must
• Knowledge of auditing practices and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
