Job Description

Job Title: Contracts Analyst with Bio-Pharma OR Medical Device Experience

Work Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid Role-3 Days a week Onsite)

Duration: Long term contract role.


Required Skills:


Pharma Medical Device Healthcare BG is needed otherwise they would not get it.

Education and Experience Requirements:


3+ years of related experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree required. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required to ensure ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven analytical experience and critical thinking skills are required.

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage rebate payment processing across channels and customers, including Commercial plans, Medicare Part D, Medicaid and Health Exchanges, with limited supervision to meet deadlines and exercise sound judgements in a fast-paced environment.

• Invoice processing and customer service skills are required with an emphasis on time management, prompt follow-through, and being proactive.

• Working knowledge of various claim processing principles, documentation requirements, and processing systems is required.

• Basic knowledge of Model N and/or Validata is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of health plans, PBMs, and pharmacy business is a plus.

• Data management skills and ability to analyze information to properly communicate relevant data to both internal and external stakeholders is required.

• Demonstrate decision making skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team structure, as well as ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues by self with minimum guidance is required.

• Effectively develop solutions to complex problems with minimal tools and guidance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Basic knowledge of Tableau or Alteryx is a plus.

• Demonstrate understanding and interpretation of contract language.
