Job Description
NOTICE OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACT


Iron County is accepting resumes for a contract position as a 5th District Court Public Defender. Iron County is seeking to fill a two (2) year contract for this position to begin as soon as possible after offer. The Attorney's Office and Court Offices are located in Cedar City, Utah. Attorneys are required to have office space in Iron County and give quarterly caseload reports to the Administrative Public Defender.


Annual contracted amount is $93,000.00 - No Benefits Provided - This is a contracted position only.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must have a law degree from an accredited law school, be an attorney in good standing, currently licensed to practice law in the State of Utah, and at least two (2) years of experience practicing criminal law.
