Vision of the Role
Do you want to use your content strategy and creation expertise to transform an industry? Content (paired with technology) is at the core of driving real business impact for Parqa clients in the Staffing & Recruiting industry. In this role, you will lead generation of content for a wide variety of audiences, partner with a fun-loving crew of digital agency team members and be the guiding hand in translating business objectives into impactful content for digital programs.
Role Responsibilities
This role is responsible for developing content strategy and copy across multiple digital channels to help clients achieve their business goals. You will create personas, customer journey strategies, campaign content strategies, and long- and short-form copy for digital channels that drives measurable results. You’ll work with business strategists and design resources to provide content and service worthy of referral to PARQA clients.
This role reports to the Content Strategy Manager.
Day-in-the-Life
In this role, you will:
- Ensure all copy is optimized for SEO and continually seek out SEO best practices
- Write and edit persuasive marketing communications in both short-and long-form formats, including eBooks, blogs, web page copy, email, etc.
- Develop and brief clients and team mates on high-impact content solutions steeped in research, insight, and clients’ business strategies.
- Be easy to work with and be a part of the positive and productive agency culture.
- Bring our brand voice, tone, and style guide to life by advocating for and creating clear, consistent, and concise content.
- Research, test, and optimize content strategies to determine how to maximize successfully
- Develop communications that deliver on business objectives from content strategy through execution.
- Lead continual improvement of the practice of graphic design within the agency.
- Bring your imaginative ideas and empathy to bear to establish communication frameworks that breathe life into digital program strategies.
- Develop client-facing presentations that communicate creative strategy and rationale, tying back to business value, and build client trust.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teammates in a shared resources agency model.
- Measure, analyze, and report on how content influences lead quality and engagement.
- Bring content to life across a wide variety of touchpoints and channels including digital, social, web, print, email, video and more.
Role Fit

- An ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills that enable an ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Ability to develop brand guidelines, customer personas, and outcomes-based content strategies, including client-facing discovery, presentation, and workshops.
- An ability to create clear and visually compelling presentations in PowerPoint.
- An inspiring portfolio of brand and digital content that demonstrates impactful copy in both short-form (e.g. digital ads/email/web pages) and long-form (e.g. blog/eBook) content.
- A high attention to detail
- BS/BS in Writing, English, Communications, Marketing, or related area.
- 5+ years of design experience within a digital marketing agency, copywriting for performance marketing experience preferred.
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices.
