Rea & Associates is looking for an experienced Content Manager to join our marketing team at one of our Ohio offices or fully remote. The Content Manager will oversee the content team within Rea’s practice growth (marketing) department. This position will be responsible for reimagining our content strategy to produce meaningful and actionable sales enablement content to help facilitate cross-selling to existing clients as well as bringing new clients into the firm. While this position doesn’t have any direct responsibilities for selling, nor does it have sales goals, success will be measured in part by opportunities generated and closed as a result of the content strategy.
As a content strategist in this role, you will be accountable for creating and delivering various forms of content that support the firm's strategic plan and growth objectives, including lead generation, enhancing brand awareness, and establishing thought leadership. Your duties will include not only developing our content strategy, but also producing compelling and engaging content.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of our content, making data-driven decisions to improve our content strategy and drive engagement
  • Manage distribution of email newsletters, nurture campaigns, sales enablement content, email newsletters, and other content
  • Work with Digital team to:
  • Assist with transition to new firm website
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in content marketing, including the use of AI, and use that knowledge to inform our content strategy and tactics
  • Manage external-facing video strategy and execution (video production, including filming and editing, is handled by an outside consultant)
  • Manage execution of marketing and communications campaigns
  • Develop overall content strategy; develop and maintain content calendar (for Rea and related affiliates)
  • Develop monthly schedule of social media posts
  • Manage and mentor the Content team, ensuring that all content is high quality, on-brand, and aligned with the firm’s values and messaging
  • Develop proposals and manage proposal process
  • Develop content strategy for website
  • Write and edit marketing and sales enablement content, including email copy, nurture/drip campaigns, marketing materials, website/landing page copy, blog posts, newsletter articles, media releases, case studies, and other thought leadership content as directed
  • Collaborate with specialty teams in the firm to identify content needs and opportunities and develop content that meets those needs
  • Write keyword-rich web copy that drives the right visitors to our site
Requirements
  • Must be located within the United States
  • 7 to 12 years of prior marketing experience
  • Strong organizational skills, including organizing work and meeting deadlines
  • Clear understanding of the content marketing funnel and the application to the B2B buyer’s journey
  • Ability to travel to our Ohio offices occasionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and able to excel in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to research, analyze, plan, and execute in areas of campaign development, message development and communications vehicle development
  • History of success with developing content that helps generate leads and move buyers through the sales funnel
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects, while also collaborating with peers in a team-oriented environment
  • A positive attitude and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
