Job Description

Job Title: Content Manager

Client Location: Remote

Starting: 08/14/2023


Salary/Pay Rate: $38.58 to $42.87 Hourly

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 5 Months


This is a fully remote position with our Financial Client. The ideal candidate will reside in Austin, TX, or the East Coast time zone. If you reside outside those criteria, you will not be considered.


Responsibilities:

  • Must have a strong technical background in addition to the creativity required to develop responsive, interesting original content.
  • Responsible for managing web content and projects related to the company's website.
  • This position will write, edit and proofread new content while ensuring that all documents meet established content standards.
  • Will facilitate publishing content to websites and work with developers and operations staff to assess and resolve any technical challenges in displaying the content.
  • Traditional writing skills and expertise in new media is preferred.


Experience:

  • Cropping and uploading images to library
  • Audit published content on a regular cadence and report findings for process improvements
  • Build and update web pages in Drupal content management system using system componen
  • Edit educational content and put through SME and Compliance reviews.
  • Manage content workflow tools in coordination with content creators
  • Communicating image-use best practices to business partners
  • Review content and metadata to ensure content adheres to guidelines and compliance standards before pages are published
  • Build and update web pages in Drupal content management system using system components
  • Monitor owned digital channels, identify and log bugs, and partner with technology teams to support and prioritize fixes
  • Stay abreast of CMS functionality and content trends to better inform content creation and strategies.
  • Purchasing new, compliant images
  • Maintain the stock image library which includes:
  • Edit educational content and put through SME and Compliance reviews.
  • Provide publishing support during times of market volatility
  • Coordinate with content creators, content strategists and experience owners on publishing calendar and activities


Ideal Candidate:

  • Product management experience
  • Understanding of web publishing platforms and technology
  • Experience managing projects in project tracking tools (e.g., Workfront, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills
  • Understanding of content management platforms
  • Ability to work both independently and as a strong contributor to a team
  • Experience in content creation, management and measurement
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills; a strong sense of initiative; a data- and metrics-driven approach to problem solving; and the ability to balance competing priorities for a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • B.A./B.S. in marketing, technology, communications, journalism or a related subject
  • Previous experience in media, editorial and/or financial services
  • Balance of technical expertise, business acumen and writing skills


The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $38.58 to $42.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
