  • Facilitate and support virtual customer meetings (e.g., content, fairness, etc.) and provide content assessment expertise.
  • Perform content alignments between GED Assessment Targets/Indicators and other content standards.
  • Participate in planning and scheduling activities.
  • Travel is minimal.
  • Use content authoring and technology tools to construct, track, and edit items.
  • Support content and test development in science and mathematics.
  • Ensure the accuracy of item content and metadata.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to produce high quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to represent GEDTS and present at conferences.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of our role in adult education preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for universal design and assessment preferred.
  • Experience working on high-stakes assessment programs preferred.
  • Experience teaching high school mathematics preferred.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years teaching high school science required.
  • Strong content knowledge in EOC life science, physical science, and Earth and space science required.
  • Experience in all phases of content development to include writing, and editing of complex items, data review, test building, and providing feedback for continual improvement of test development preferred.
