What it’s like to be a Consultant

Centage is looking for a high-energy, smart, and ambitious Consultant to join our growing B2B SaaS company’s mission to bring innovative financial technology to the SMB market. You will be part of a culture where teamwork, collaboration, and learning are top priorities alongside winning. Your day will be spent working closely with our clients, new and existing, to make them successful! You love excel and making data tie! As a Consultant you will work with multiple clients ensuring all project milestones and timelines are met. You have solid accounting knowledge that you enjoy sharing, excellent project and time management skills and demonstrate a highly professional demeanor. You have extensive experience leading multiple complex projects, developing excellent relationships, and achieve success through creative problem solving, planning and execution.

What does the day to day look like

• Work with multiple levels of accounting and financial professionals from the C-suite down to make them successful
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles and Centage's software solutions
• Reviewing, analyzing and digesting clients current budget models in excel
• Developing financial reports for presentation in Centage's Analytics Maestro
• Developing a budget build and work process in Centage's Planning Maestro to meet the client’s budgeting needs
• Manage multiple engagements that may include initial on-boarding and/or professional service projects with clients
• Develop and maintain excellent lines of communication with clients, you are the clients advocate internally
• Training client users in the software and on suggested budget model to meet their financial objectives

Requirements

• Exceptional time management and project management skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in parallel
• Excellent MS Excel knowledge; pivots, formulas, v-look-ups
• Experience in a self-directed work environment
• Prior consulting experience a plus
• Previous experience training and implementing financial applications is a plus
• Multi-Lingual candidates a plus
• Solid independent thinker; ability to operating within a team
• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities
• 2-4 years working in Accounting or Finance (experience in financial reporting or budgeting is a plus)

Base salary range from $75k - $90k
