Job Title: Skilled Construction Worker
We are currently seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction trades and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and building plans to understand the scope of the project.
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, steel, and concrete.
- Will have a minimum of 1 year working knowledge of mechanical systems for plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges.
- Operate various hand and power tools including saws, hammers, drills, and sanders.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
