Construction Superintendent (National Traveling) - Dallas

Horizon Retail Construction is an established national general contractor specializing in tenant improvement. We have been in business since 1993 serving the largest, most successful tenants in the country and completing over 1500 jobs a year.

We are currently hiring experienced TRAVELING CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENTS.

Job Summary: Horizon Retail Construction Superintendents are responsible for overseeing construction at the jobsite. Our Superintendents serve as the point person on each jobsite, working in conjunction with Project Managers at our headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

To Qualify For The Position Of SUPERINTENDENT, We Desire

• Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement
• Knowledge of OSHA standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of subcontractor responsibilities
• Understanding of technology as required onsite
• Must be enthusiastic and professional

Driving & Travel Requirements

• Must travel the United States; 100% travel
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance

Computer Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Outlook required (i.e. sending emails, attaching documents to emails, etc.)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position directs the activities of subcontractors and client vendors.

Employment Requirements

• Proven track record of running successful projects
• Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial fast track construction
