Job Description

Summary:

As a Construction Project Manager, you are the main point of contact with Owner/Client in reviewing contract agreements, resolving site concerns, and fostering high-quality relationships and client service to build future partnership opportunities. Your ability to be resourceful, adaptable and enthusiastic will lend you to be successful within this role.


What you will be doing:

  • Maintain trade partner and supplier budgets; select partners and suppliers
  • Manage financials and accounting billings, change orders, and maintain schedules
  • Team with Project Superintendent and Field Operations to execute all construction phases, including site visits
  • Create monthly billings
  • Provide leadership to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including, but not limited to, managing job assignments, facilitating career development and providing feedback on performance
  • Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and manage budgets
  • Organize and lead large-scale commercial projects by overseeing schedules, budgets, project financials, including developing and maintaining financial projections, and client engagement
  • Manage billings, contracts creation, and contract buyouts


What we are seeking:

  • High emotional IQ and ability to communicate and manage Owners and Clients professionally
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits
  • Previous experience with training, managing, or leading a team of professionals
  • Previous ground up, commercial construction experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficient comfort level with a variety of technologies
  • Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Architectural Engineering preferred, but not required
