Construction Contractor Jobs

We’re hiring an experienced general contractor to manage our workers and ensure each finished product is of the highest quality! You'll help our project manager in the planning process and supervise all laborers and subcontractors by conducting inspections and providing guidance when needed. Ideally, job seekers should be detail-oriented builders who know site safety procedures like the back of their hand. We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of general contractor experience. $35 - $40.5 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all best-practice health and safety standards to prevent injuries and slowdowns at construction sites, and promptly report any issues to the project manager if they do occur
• Discuss project costs with the client and help the project manager plan out the day-to-day building project process
• Include client feedback as construction progresses and help construction crew and subcontractors execute change orders
• Purchase any needed project equipment and supplies and promptly reorder items when the stock gets depleted
• Make sure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained and schedule maintenance for equipment if needed

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
• OSHA 30 certification and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
• Current general contractor license
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
• A high school diploma is required, bachelor’s degree preferred
