Position: General Manager Location: Wisconsin, United States (Specific location confidential) Salary: $125,000 per year Bonus: 20% of base salary Relocation Package: $5,000 to $8,000 Temporary Housing: 30-60 days

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our luxury property.


Job Summary: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including guest services, operations, sales and marketing, revenue management, and employee management. You will be accountable for maintaining the highest level of service standards, driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and creating a culture of excellence throughout the property. This position requires a proven track record in luxury hospitality management and a strong ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Guest Experience: Uphold the highest standards of luxury service and guest satisfaction. Implement and monitor service programs to ensure exceptional guest experiences and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting. Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to optimize revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular quality assurance assessments to maintain and enhance service and operational excellence.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets. Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of department heads and employees. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting employee engagement, growth, and retention.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information and adhere to privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to all departments, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. Oversee guest services, front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other areas as required.
  • Community Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community, business organizations, and tourism entities. Represent the hotel at industry events and participate in relevant community initiatives.


Requirements


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the luxury hotel industry.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel management, with at least 5 years in a General Manager role.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing luxury full-service hotels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a deep understanding of luxury service standards.
  • Ability to work in a confidential and discreet manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
