Computer Vision Research Scientist

Wicket is a startup hiring a full time Computer Vision/AI engineer in Central Square, Cambridge. We have openings at all levels. It is expected you will have a MS, or PhD, with experience in a long-term research project.

We write computer vision algorithms to use your face as your ticket. For example, if you come to a New York Mets game and pre-register with your face, you can go through the express lane and our software will recognize you as you walk in. It’s fast. It’s easy. Fans love it.

We are a small team, so there are significant opportunities to work on a variety of problems, and to take a leadership role as the team grows.Right now, we're working on liveness detection algorithms - determining if someone is trying to fool our sensors by showing a picture of someone else.We do everything from creating our own datasets, to refining them, to training the algorithms, and deploying them.

We are looking for:

* People who like to hack

* Proficiency in Python, Git, Unix, Numpy, Pandas, Pytorch.

* Experience with long term research projects.

* Communicates effectively (verbal and written)

* Efficient problem solving skills

* Some experience working in a team

* Some experience in industry (perhaps an internship)
