Computer Assembler Jobs

Description

Using assorted hand and power tools, assembles and tests basic and complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis and computer systems. Must be able to follow various drawings, blueprints and written or oral instructions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicates ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditions.
• Under limited supervision works from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Uses tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency
• Minimum of one (1) year assembly experience

Education Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $33,280 to $41,600. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
