High Tide Consultants, LLC (HTC) is seeking a highly motivated, talented individual to join our growing engineering firm. HTC is a regional civil engineering firm focused on client-oriented solutions and professional growth of the employee. We pride ourselves on being true consulting engineers to our clients and not simply providing a design on paper. We provide a diverse range of services including planning, land and site development design, water and wastewater design, stormwater management (including hydraulics and hydrology), roadway design, structural design, permitting, client representation, and construction administration. Our clients include local municipalities and utility systems throughout southeast Louisiana and private clients ranging from local to regional developers and companies throughout the gulf coast.

Successful candidates must have a 2-year technical degree or appropriate industry experience with 2 - 10+ years of experience in the drafting of civil/structural projects associated with the civil/structural engineering industry. It is preferred for applicant to have experience in land development and municipal type projects. A strong knowledge base of AutoCAD and Civil3D is required. Also, experience deficiencies and experience with in the notated field can be overcome by an individual that possesses the drive to learn and improve their skills while employed at HTC.
Experience:
• 2 - 10 years drafting experience
• Experience with land development projects, including commercial, residential - single family, and multifamily, master planning, industrial/distribution, mixed use.
• Experience in municipal projects, including water and wastewater, hydraulics and hydrology design or structural design experience a plus.
• Experience working in integrated teams.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil3D
Position Purpose:
• The ability to assist in engineering design via the development of design plans and exhibits for multiple projects while working in a team environment. Applicant will possess a positive team-oriented attitude to achieve success for HTC’s clients. Help grow and develop our presence in the Northshore community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop plans and exhibits as instructed by the engineering staff.
• Assist with project tasks as directed by engineer.
• Take an active role in the project design process with the ability to clearly communicate with other team members.
