Computer Aided Design Drafter/Revit

ClowardH2O is looking to expand our capabilities by hiring a Drafter/CAD/Revit designer. Come join our team of designers, engineers and operational professionals to create some of the most stunning aquatic amenities around the world. We collaborate with Architects, Landscape Architects and other creative professionals to design and engineer water parks, theme parks, surf parks, splash pads, resort pools, spas, fountains, marine and zoo exhibits, lakes, ponds and all types of water circulation and filtration systems.

As a Drafter/CAD/Revit designer you are a key member of the engineering team and will work closely with the CAD & Revit staff and project engineers to produce designs, plans and details for construction drawing packages. This a mid-level position for an energetic, skilled and innovative drafter. Also open to considering a new graduate, entry -level hire with a proven ability to learn quickly and make strong contributions to the team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work as a member of a CAD/Revit design team to manage work loads and ensure each project’s needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist Project Engineers to evaluate mechanical calculations and optimize systems.
• Work with the Program Manager and Project Engineers to design and produce engineering documents for aquatic treatment systems including pumping and circulation systems, mechanical and chemical filtration systems, chemical treatment and disinfection systems, piping and layout plans and construction details.
• Assist in coordinating with other project technical teams including Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Structural engineering teams.
• Use 2D/3D CAD & Revit to produce drawing packages that include detailed drawings ready for construction.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong interpersonal communication skills including oral and written to support the team environment.
• Professional proficiency in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD 2D (2010 and higher). Experience with Solidworks is a plus.
• A working understanding of Architectural, piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, site layout and detail drawings.
• A minimum of 1-yr Certification or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.
• Able to think through problems and ask good questions. Be self-directed and responsive to deadlines.
