iNDX Technology (Doing business as iNDX.Ai) is a silicon valley based Bio-IT company Established in 2011, Focused on providing an innovative informatics solution to Pharma and Biotech companies involved in clinical and translational research for Immuno Oncology/Cancer. It has developed a comprehensive cloud based platform(iCore) that makes clinical trials more efficient by connecting disconnected silos and providing data management and analytics capabilities

SUMMARY

The iNDx technology is searching for a full-time entry-level hybrid computational biologist/translational research scientist who can apply methods of computational biology to develop data analytics platform developed by Indx Technology. The candidate will be having a master’s degree in computation biology and will be knowledgeable of statistics, next generation sequencing experiments, flowcytometry methods and other types of molecular and cellular data and applications commonly used in Translational Research studies. The computational biologist will be working closely with bioinformatics team, clinical team and Software development team to analyze biomarker data derived from translational studies conducted in collaboration with partners. iNDx technology has designed the data analytics platform that supports correlative science research to study how the genetic profiles of patients tumors define disease presentation, response to therapy and disease progression. These analyses are guiding treatment decisions and the enrollment of patients into clinical trials of novel targeted therapies. Therefore, the candidate contributes to many of the projects we undertake, and those efforts will have direct impacts

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify scalable solutions, including data transfer/upload to external customers, that allows us to execute on partnerships on time.
  • Monitor and evaluate analytical aspects of new and emerging technologies.
  • Define success metrics and analyze outcomes to improve processes and product portfolio strategy
  • Collaborate with researchers to understand the translational research aim to optimize the workflows around identifying, recruiting, managing, and analyzing data coming from translational research studies.
  • Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment.
  • Present scientific and technical data to colleagues in a clear and cohesive manner.
  • Communicate requirements, plans, and project status within teams and throughout the organization, as well as with partners
  • Distill researcher needs to prioritize problems and define appropriate solutions.
  • Work with Designer and Engineering to prioritize, plan, and execute on projects.
  • Work on the development and deployment of computational methods to analyze and interpret data from a variety of cutting-edge high-throughput experimental technologies
  • Write scientific reports, prepare research results for publication.
  • Create the marketing technical marketing material

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with next-generation sequencing platforms, Flowcytometry platforms and other translational research related analytical platforms and toolkits
  • Proficient in R, Python, PERL. Experience in Bioinformatics software development
  • 1-2 years research data science/ data analysis experience would be desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, engineering or technical field
  • Experience participating in and/or managing biological research projects, and executing toward deadlines.
  • Familiarity with software and product development frameworks, agile workflows, and APIs
  • IT process management, version control, and good coding practices
