Job Description

The FedEx Dataworks team is seeking a Compensation Analyst that will be responsible for helping drive the strategic design of our total rewards offerings. This includes base compensation, variable compensation, awards and special programs for U.S. and International employees. We are looking for someone who has a bias for action and can help implement a comprehensive total rewards philosophy that helps attract, motivate, and retail top talent.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for annual salary reviews, bonus reviews, and promotion adjustment reviews.
  • Assist in preparation of policies/procedures to ensure competitive employee compensation. Maintain a thorough knowledge of labor laws, federal and state local legislations influencing compensation and award programs
  • Build trusting relationships with business leaders, HR colleagues and employees to develop a deep understanding of the organization’s workforce and retention opportunities.
  • Help Design and deliver compensation and rewards programs that are well understood and valued by managers and employees; develop comprehensive communications and training materials.
  • Implement and administer the Sales Incentive Compensation program to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Immigration and other stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze and interpret relevant market data, and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures, and benefits offerings; propose salary increase budgets on a global basis and administer all rewards lifecycle actions (job pricing, focal cycle administration, equity refresh cycle, open enrollment).
  • Evaluate existing pay and benefits practices while providing recommendations and executing plans for change.
  • Support and maintain the total rewards program, including rewards HRIS configuration and partnership with external solution providers.
  • Quickly learn Dataworks business and priorities, and ensure efforts are aligned and support business outcomes.
  • Support the design, implementation and maintenance our global total rewards strategy. Ensure our programs are aligned with Dataworks values and mission while informed by the market.
  • Ensure programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
  • Must have the ability to market match job families to industry salary survey data.
  • Proven experience demonstrating a bias towards action in driving continuous improvement through project/program management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship building, consulting, and influencing capability demonstrated across diverse situations and contexts
  • Thorough understanding of employment law and regulations
  • Strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results
  • Ability to develop engaging presentations and strategies through the use of data and visuals.
  • Flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Most ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of Sales Incentive Compensation Programs.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CCP or PHR
  • Success in creating and driving effective and positive employee relations, retention and reward programs
  • Demonstrated ability to have effective conversations with a variety of audiences while navigating difficult topics
  • Experience in building competitive compensation, awards and retention programs for a tech company and/or start up environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and with all peer and management levels
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills including statistical analysis and modeling along with experience evaluating and managing online salary management tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
Compensation Analyst III
Bachelor's Degree /equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. three (3) years’ work experience in in a Compensation focused role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel or other modeling tools. Strong human relations, organizational / time management and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Compensation Lead
Bachelor's Degree /equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Five (5) years’ work experience in in a Compensation focused role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel or other modeling tools. Strong human relations, organizational / time management and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present and communicate effectively to executive audiences
Domicile Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
