    Position Information

    Performs the full range of assignments in the provision of professional case management, counseling, guidance and other assistance services to program participants in various community services programs; and performs other related duties as required.
    Current Vacancy:
    There is one vacancy with the Department of Community Services, WorkHawaii Division. The position will be filled on a temporary (limited-term) basis with the possibility of extension. Under the general supervision of the Community Services Specialist IV (Youth Services Center), the primary purpose of the CSS III is to provide moderate to complex career and education services to clients enrolled in the Education Advancement & Career Development branch of the WorkHawaii Youth Program Office. This position works as part of a team to ensure the delivery of all 14 service elements of the WorkHawaii Youth Program.
    Special Work Requirements: May be required to work weekends and evenings.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements

    At time of application, you must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
    EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
    Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in psychology, social work, social sciences, or a related field. Work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a Bachelor’s degree.
