This is a part-time remote position and qualified applicants must be US-based.


Intent:


The Community Moderator is passionate about serving others, fostering a community of inclusion, and is very social media savvy. This role is responsible for all company Facebook groups and assists Danette May with live videos. The Community Moderator collaborates with the Program Director and internal Community Management team to support the Company’s mission, ensuring a safe and legal community environment, promoting excellent customer service and helping to cultivate a strong community around the brand.


Description & Influence:


  • Weekly moderation of comments on Exercise Videos, Recipes and Meditations in Fit Rise
  • On rare occasions, reach out by phone to members who need encouragement to stay involved.
  • Any other additional tasks that may arise
  • Collaborates within the programs/community department to create and execute community engagement campaigns which foster a sense of sisterhood within our Fit Rise tribe.
  • Coordinates volunteer team members and oversees volunteer process.
  • Moderates all company Facebook groups: Monitors posts in the groups to make sure they are adhering to group rules. Deletes and mutes posts that are offensive to fellow members or posts that undermine the mission of Mindful Health and its brands.
  • Answer Questions asked by members regarding products, programs, login information, cancellations, refunds, FitRise website, and promos (in all groups)
  • Escalates any immediate concerns to the Community Leader or Program Director.
  • Assists with Live Videos (providing links, answering live questions)
  • Maintain the Moderation Guidelines and ensure they are up to date
  • On the spot customer service within groups


Background & Experience:


  • Proficient in Facebook community engagement.
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to proactively address issues is vital.
  • Familiarity with Danette May / Mindful Health programs.
  • Willingness to help out in other departments, as necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • College degree preferred
  • Value accountability across the board and take ownership of issues from start to finish
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to be flexible and able to quickly switch gears to better accommodate the needs of our community and team.
  • Experienced (3+ years) in social media moderation and communication preferred.
  • Proficient in social media posting.
  • A quick learner and self-starter with excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills in progressively advancing positions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and emotional content in a mature and thoughtful manner.


Required Hours:


  • This is a part-time position of 15-20 hours/week.
  • Wednesday 9AM CST meeting attendance is also required.
  • The working hours are subject to change based on needs
  • The hours must be completed Tuesday - Saturday 1PM to 7PM CST.
  • A consistent weekly work schedule must be established and set with the manager's input.
