Job Description
Regional Marketing Manager


Responsibilities


  • Plan and implement a strong plan for demand growth and ongoing engagement optimization; establish a culture of experimentation and measurement
  • Manage and track regional marketing goals and objectives and adjust the strategy to meet metrics and agreed-upon KPIs. Responsible for monthly board updates.
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects, including kickoffs, scheduling, creative development, agency and packaging/print vendor identification, stakeholder reviews/approvals, compliance review, and production/printing
  • Brand development for iAnthus owned brands in cooperation with GMs and Corporate Marketing including package component management as it relates to cost cutting and ESG goals
  • Partner with HR and operations regarding community outreach, onsite marketing events, and employer brand awareness
  • Work with GM in the selection of non-iAnthus brands, monitor performance and manage SKU presence
  • Conduct analytics and research – Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies. Weave together data-driven decision-making and encourage creativity
  • Partner with GM/operations leadership to understand operational capabilities and limitations and develop and execute market-wide promotions and programs to drive sales, traffic, and digital engagement
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing to provide programs in support of the wholesale sales teams
  • Manage and track regional marketing budget and calendar
  • Partner with GM to ensure that all marketing activities are designed to have retail sales impact. This would include P&L responsibilities, budget deployment and management.
  • Work with other company regional marketing team members across brand, creative, product marketing, performance marketing, and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work with GMs and Store Managers in developing a retail brand with associative merchandising architecture
  • Lead our customer strategy; deeply know who our customer is and what motivates them; ensure the entire company is aligned around and inspired by our customer


Qualifications


  • Strong connections in the local markets with a deep understanding of the cannabis community and what makes the region unique
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to prioritize short- and long-term goals
  • 4-6 years of experience in CPG and retail
  • Ability to work well independently and remotely from team leader and peers
  • Highly collaborative and willing to seek and accept ideas from non-marketing associates
  • Superb verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Well-developed budget management skills
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for the big picture
  • Genuine interest in the performance of the business to drive results
  • Excited to develop creative programs and solutions
  • An understanding and appreciation of the value of disruptive marketing with the ability to innovate in all aspects of the position’s functions
