Description:

Manage and leverage strategic partnerships of the supply base to meet the company’s procurement requirements in terms of quality, delivery and cost.

Job Specific Requirements

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
• Partner with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy.
• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts.
• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with cross-cultural suppliers on technical and logistics issues
• Cost reduction project leadership experience in a related environment preferred
• 4+ years experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Team player and influencing skills required to establish and sustain a lean culture
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills
