We are looking for an enthusiastic Female Laboratory Collection Specialist to join our Field Operations team in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will be working in a Criminal Justice setting, tasked with collecting, logging, ordering, processing, and shipping urine and oral fluid(saliva) specimens for drug testing. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with patients being tested for controlled substances. Strong people skills and reliable transportation are a must.


The schedule for this position will be M-F 7am to 3pm. The pay range for this role will be $15.25 - $18.00, depending on experience.

  • Collect, log, order, process, and ship urine, oral, and/or hair specimens to the laboratory
  • Maintain organization in the collection of all specimens
  • File requisitions, chain of custody forms, and associated paperwork
  • Assemble samples for shipping
  • Collect and scan insurance, as applicable


Education And Experience


  • Experience in a medical office or treatment clinic is preferred
  • HS diploma or GED is required
  • Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Nursing Assistant experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read names, test codes, follow basic instructions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under and meet strict deadlines individually as well as in a team environment
  • Must have basic computer skills


Working Conditions


  • Requires protective devices
  • May be required to lift up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to perform observed collections if required
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environments efficiently
  • Contact with biological specimens
