Performs complex diagnostic and procedural coding for ambulatory surgery and outpatient surgery.

Preferred Criteria

• College level coursework in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
• CPC, RHIA or RHIT certifications
• Formal inpatient coding training program

Required Criteria

• 2 years experience in complex diagnostic and procedural outpatient coding
• High School Diploma/GED
