Job Description
Super Soccer Stars is looking for a Coaching Coordinator to join our team. As a Coaching Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our team of coaches across multiple locations, ensuring they are delivering the best-in-class curriculum and providing a positive learning experience to children. You will work closely with the Curriculum team to develop and improve lesson plans, and with the HR team to recruit and train new coaches. Our company is dedicated to developing children's soccer skills while building their confidence, teamwork, and socialization skills. With over 20 years of experience and a player pathway from crib-to-college, we are the premier youth educational soccer program in the country. The position will start as a 15-hour guaranteed position leading classes and will evolve into a more managerial role as more coaches and classes are added to the schedule.


Responsibilities


  • Manage scheduling and logistics for coaching staff
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with program directors, parents, and children
  • Promote Soccer Stars through site visits, events, marketing, etc. Commissions available
  • Ensure coaches are implementing the Super Soccer Stars curriculum and providing a positive learning experience to children
  • Oversee and manage a team of coaches across multiple locations
  • Train and onboard new coaches in accordance with company standards and policies, including leading classes as training sessions for new coaches
  • Conduct performance evaluations for coaches to ensure they are meeting expectations and addressing any areas of improvement


Requirements


  • Passion for working with children and developing their skills and confidence
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of coaches
  • Ability to work some weekends and evenings for classes and events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years of coaching experience in youth soccer programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of child development and how it applies to soccer education
