Duties of the CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (varies based on client needs)Help clients take prescribed medicationAssist clients with ambulationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)Assist with personal care and hygieneHelp with physical therapy exercisesPlan and prepare mealsDo the client’s shopping or accompany them to do soPerform housekeeping dutiesBe pleasant and supportiveReport any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Requirements of the CNA Certified Nursing AssistantMust be 18 years of age Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check 1 year experience in healthcareMust have completed a CNA course or equivalentExcellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cookingAdhere to health and safety standardsBe respectful and compassionateStrong ethicsPhysical enduranceWhy Join Our Team?
