Cloud Engineer (Terraform Cloud)
Primary Location: Downers Grove, Illinois
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cloud Engineer (Terraform Cloud) for our premier client in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Education And Experience

• Experience with GCP or AWS networking and security services.
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV).
• Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience with network virtualization technologies such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.

What You'll Do
Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets and security groups.
• Implement and manage load balancers and traffic routing.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure application and infrastructure security.
• Design and implement network security policies and procedures.
• Implement and manage VPN connections between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Design, implement and manage network infrastructure in our cloud environments.
