The Cloud Engineer, reporting to our IT Operations Manager, plays a crucial role in managing and improving our infrastructure and working with the security and app dev teams on various Technology-related projects. The Cloud Engineer must be a critical thinker, capable of making rapid, well-informed judgments in support of business-critical systems.

Who you are:

• You are a self-starter, always looking for ways to improve your technical knowledge.
• You have embraced Azure cloud and automated technology to work smarter.
• You have hands-on experience with Office 365, familiar with exchange online and managed email boxes.
• You understand the importance of collaboration and being a problem solver with cross-functional leaders in development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• You have previously managed networking solutions (Wi-Fi access points, switches, and routers).
• You have Azure administration skills, including hands-on experience with Azure App services, identity management, and active directory.

What you will do:

• Server Management and SQL database creation, configuration, upgrade, migration, and patching.
• Maintain security agent (Windows Defender) and antivirus compliance on workstations and servers.
• Install new / rebuild existing cloud resources in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Generate and analyze PRTG, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights, and OS logs for root cause troubleshooting.
• Contribute to and maintain system standards.
• Maintain and improve networks, servers, and related company infrastructure for software development.
• Prepare and implement data security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Research and recommend innovative automated approaches for administration tasks.
• Architect and administer both cloud-based services (VMs, Azure App Services, VNETS etc.) and on-premises virtual machines.
• Deploy and maintain internal and external applications, including licensing, single sign-on, and Windows Active Directory.
