Job Description

The Krannert School of Physical Therapy is seeking applicants for Clinical Teaching Assistants. Clinical Teaching Assistants (CTAs) are unranked employees of the University who support the Krannert School of Physical Therapy faculty during the onsite portion of classes and/or with off-site activities. The CTA assists with physical therapy education. Individuals may assist with Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and/or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) courses. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that is non-benefit eligible.

Responsibilities - Clinical Teaching Assistant - Physical Therapy
  • Attends meetings with the lead course instructor to discuss current concepts being taught in class and expectations for the student experience
  • Complies with annual University and program employee training requirements and program immunization requirements
  • Provides instruction according to the lead instructor’s directives to meet course requirements and provide appropriate feedback to students
Qualifications - Clinical Teaching Assistant - Physical Therapy
  • Must hold an active, unrestricted Indiana physical therapist license (required to work as a CTA for the DPT program)
  • Completion of entry-level physical therapist or physical therapist assistant education is required
  • Minimum of three months of current clinical practice experience as a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant is required
  • Must hold an active, unrestricted Indiana physical therapist license or physical therapist assistant license/certification (required to work as a CTA for the PTA program)
