The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the daily technical operations of a specific functional laboratory section.

• And much more… Minimum Education Bachelor's degree □ Preferred X Required Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. Exception: Approved under the ASCP Grandfather clause in Histology; certified prior to 2004. Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills Certifications: Medical Technologist (MT ASCP) or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS ASCP) or Histotechnician (ASCP) required. MT or MLS required in BB or Micro; HT required in Anatomic Pathology SBB preferred in BB; SM preferred in Micro; HTL preferred in Anatomic Pathology Minimum Work Experience Required - 4 years in specialty area.
