Clinical Research Lab Specialist

The Clinical Research Lab Specialist is a specialized research professional working with and under the direction of the clinical Principal Investigator (PI) on multiple ongoing research studies. While the PI is ultimately responsible for the clinical trial, the CR Lab Specialist is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of daily trial activities and plays a critical role in the conduct of the study.

Qualifications

• Self-directed and able to work directly without supervision. Must be able to work as a team member with other staff, doctors, departments, and community.
• Excellent computer and electronic database management skills.
• Must possess excellent communication and interactive skills (both verbal and written), while also remaining flexible in responsibilities and work schedule.
• Must maintain current certification for compliance and hazardous transport (IATA training).
• Post-secondary degree in a related healthcare field required or at least 5 years equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with clinical trials desired.
