Clinical Research Coordinator

Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23005905)
Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.

Essential Functions Will assist with study design, implementation of study protocols, subject recruitment, consenting, scheduling, and facilitating study visits, data collection, biological sample collection, processing, storage and shipment, and maintaining electronic research data and documents/case report forms and source documents. Perform phlebotomy with minor laboratory skills, electrocardiograms, pulmonary function, and other study procedures.
Physical Effort The position requires the ability to stand and walk for 2-4 hours per day, walk 0.5-1 mile 2-3 times/day, maneuver heavy and fragile equipment and carry case report forms and research records (~15 lbs). Ability to read small print. Medical activities such as blood draw.
