Description


  • Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lead Medical Assistant to join our team at our Sterling Location. Stating Pay $18 to $20/Hr. The Lead Medical Assistant is a senior medical assistant who is responsible for overseeing the work of other medical assistants and ensuring that clinical operations run smoothly.


Job duties and responsibilities include:


  • Make sure the office is always stocked with medical materials and gowns.
  • Complete month end reports, scan and email to the appropriate people as assigned.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining medical records.
  • Keep awareness of the days schedule and the necessity for efficient operation.
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy and EKG, assisting physician as needed.
  • Ability to work with all claimants while maintaining calmness, consideration, compassion and respect.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Ensuring quality control.
  • Stay in the office until the last medical claimant leaves.
  • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.

EDUCATION


Required- High School with Medical Assistants training.


Experience


Preferred- Certified Medical Assistants training or associate degree.


Required- Training from an accredited Medical Assisting training program.


Preferred- Two years as a medical assistant in an occupational health setting.
