- Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lead Medical Assistant to join our team at our Sterling Location. Stating Pay $18 to $20/Hr. The Lead Medical Assistant is a senior medical assistant who is responsible for overseeing the work of other medical assistants and ensuring that clinical operations run smoothly.
- Make sure the office is always stocked with medical materials and gowns.
- Complete month end reports, scan and email to the appropriate people as assigned.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
- Maintaining medical records.
- Keep awareness of the days schedule and the necessity for efficient operation.
- Knowledge of phlebotomy and EKG, assisting physician as needed.
- Ability to work with all claimants while maintaining calmness, consideration, compassion and respect.
- Work overtime as required.
- Ensuring quality control.
- Stay in the office until the last medical claimant leaves.
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including electronic medical records (EMR).
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
