As a Clinical Extender, you will have the opportunity to support the orthotic clinicians with patient care and perform various tasks that are administrative, operational and/or clinical. The ideal candidate will have a background with physical therapy and/or orthotics.


  • Perform administrative tasks such as entering information into EMR systems, answer phones, scheduling, and patient check in
  • Assist with fittings as needed, including measurements, repairs, adjustments, performing impressions, etc
  • Assist clinician with patient care duties, including prepping rooms for patients, weighing, documentation, etc
  • Prepare devices for positive rectification
  • Prior experience with electronic health/medical record systems (preferably NextGen).
  • Perform general Scribe duties
  • Prior scribe experience or LPN strongly preferred.
  • Assist patients in follow ups and general care of devices
  • Perform delivery of devices to patients as needed
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one to two years of medical experience required or equivalent combination of work and education.
